Question of the Day
I am currently studying to get my ESL certification and I have a question that I know my future students are going to ask me. It is a question that has stumped a majority of Americans for ages.(Frankly, I'VE been wondering about the answer as well). I will give you a gold star if you can give me an answer.
Why do we say we "put on our shoes and socks", when we actually put our socks on first?
