Shopping List

I am having the worst trouble today trying to figure out what to write, and I know that I have to write something, or I will lose my journaling habit. Therefore, I will write a list of what I must do for Christmas when I get paid tomorrow:

1. Buy Fake-o, cheap-o Christmas Tree at the garden center in Walmart, America's Christmas one-stop.

2. Buy cheap ornaments to put on fake-o, cheap-o tree. (Lights included). Don't forget the star.

3. Assemble tree and all accoutrements while listening to "Traditional Christmas" radio station and drinking Dr. Pepper...sorry, it's a tradition.

4. Buy cookie making paraphernalia, which includes possible cookie cutters, just in case I get the urge to get all out in the kitchen.

5. Purchase Christmas gifts and perhaps some small stockings and stocking stuffers for my babies with appropriate wrapping materials.

6. Wrap, cry, reminisce, and send gifts for my babies.

7. Purchase gifts for Karim and his family in Egypt, (and a stocking for Karim,) along with appropriate wrapping materials.

8. Ship heavier items to Egypt via US Post, and send lighter items with friend's visiting mother. These things are not as urgent this payday, therefore, I might wait until next payday.

9. Finish reading Dickens, return books to library, and pay overdue fines.

10. Find and purchase a copy of Rudolph, Frosty, and Snoopy.

This is my payday Christmas list. Perhaps next post I'll give you my "wish list". Peace to all.
