Making Room

Today was payday, my most favorite day of the year (26 times a year), and the day I finally decided to break down and buy that little computer cart from Walmart (for ONLY 29.63). I have only now finished putting it together after cussing the guy who "drilled" the holes for the casters (I left my power drill back at Walmart) and have transferred the computer and all of its entourage from the folding table which we have been keeping in the middle of our living room for dining upon. The table is now holding true to its name and is folded flat against the wall giving us far more space in our living area and allowing us to have a less "trying-to-live-as-if-we-had-a-larger-room" look. The printer is stationed at the bottom shelf, which would normally hold the modem of a desktop computer, thus freeing up the walkway between the living room and kitchen.
Ah, freedom. It's such a liberating feeling. I feel so much smaller now in my living room. There are more places to go: the little corner under the bar; the wall next to the kitchen. I have created my own little palatial parade ground simply by adding my little, cheap computer cart. (Okay, so it's not Harrod's, but it IS more space).
