AAAAaarrrgh!!!

This week has gone considerably unwell, I must say. After being "demoted" in a non-promotional sort of way at work, (I will not explain as that will further confuse you), I came home to find that my beloved computer had crashed. Completely. It didn't even "whirr" when I turned it on. We took it in to some "friends" of my husband, (they aren't friends, really, just a "resource" of Arabic speaking people that my husband feels he can communicate with). The intention was to fix the computer, and we figured we would have to delete the "old" windows system and put in a new one. It seems to me that when one deletes the "old", it should be "not there", right? It was. Instead of ousting the bad program, they downloaded a new windows system ON TOP OF it. So now, when we log into our computer, we have to make a choice of either Windows xp professional, or Windows xp professional, one which loads, and one which doesn't. Needless to say, there is a lot LESS space on our hard drive than there used to be, and I expect this version to crash soon as well. I am completely at a loss as to what to do apart from taking it back to them and asking them to do it right...while we watch.
We really need to find a computer store that KNOWS something about computers, and at the same time buy our own version of windows so that whenever the computer goes down, we can do it ourselves. It would save time, money and migraine.
Please keep me in prayer as I will be trying to find work to replace the lame job to which I drag myself everyday to face a manager that has no reason to dislike me but does and makes every possible convenience for me to hand her my apron and walk out the door (which I will NOT do, just to spite her!).
May God grant you all peace.
